Tasks of participants in the active exchange of information

The authorised points of contact are responsible for ensuring that the contact data of their organisation and their POCs are up-to-date and that GovCERT Austria is notified of any changes.

Participants are expected to

• actively provide information on IT security-relevant data and incidents,
• participate in the processing of security-relevant issues,
• exchange know-how and undertake crisis management in the event of IT security incidents (this means that crisis management is not part of the remit of GovCERT).
