Benefits for participants in the active exchange of information
Participation in the active exchange of information with GovCERT Austria comprises – beyond notifications, warnings and other services (provided by CERT.at) – the following areas:
- Statistical summaries of incidents within the respective circle of users: for example, how many ministries, provincial governments or similar institutions were affected by security-related incidents. Mention of concrete individual organisations is only made in consultation with the organisations affected.
- Access to relevant documents, including non-public documents from international organisations.
- Invitations to workshops, training sessions, informal security-related meetings and other pertinent events.
In cases of active information exchange, the sensitivity of the information shared is marked in accordance with the Traffic Light Protocol (TLP). If required, a more detailed explanation of how the information may be used is provided.
